![]() ![]() Interested in starting your own public channel around a specific topic (i.e., NCAA Live Stats, Presto Users, Graphic Design, Young Professionals, Weird Hobbies)? Simply click on Create Channel either by clicking on the + sign to the right of Channels in the dashboard or from the channel directory. Interested in Creating A Topic-Specific Channel? Direct messages can be between two people or groups of people. Other members do not see direct messages unless they are part of the thread. Direct messages are between only those included in the message.Only invited members can see conversations, postings and files included in private channels. They do not appear on the dashboard or in your directory unless you are a member of the channel. Private channels are by invitation only.Any person who is part of the CSC Membership workspace can see all postings and files included in public channels. Public channels are just that - public.Download the Slack mobile app and connect the workspace.(Pro tip: Having the desktop app open all day means you won’t miss a conversation.) Once downloaded, add as many workspaces to your dashboard as you like.
